Vaalvi : Movie Review
The film has an amazing screenplay with a mysterious but a comic flow, which holds the attention of the viewers and it actually generates a loaded curiosity which peaks in the second half of the drama, especially the road journey in the end, everything is well placed in the screenplay. Inspite of the plot being tense the comic punches come at the right time and when I say comic punches there are no long comic scenes but comic punches throughout the drama which work extremely well with the thrilling moments. The best part is, humor is triggered naturally with conversations and incidents, the point is that the actors are not doing something extraordinary or different to generate humor, instead it is the messy situation that the characters are trapped in which leads to comic smashes. Then the background music is also designed in such a way that it compliments the mood of the film very well. All the actors have performed outstandingly well in the movie and none of them leave any stone unturned to deliver what was expected from them. Subodh Bhave who appears in the second half excels in his role and his banter with Devika is fun to watch. Apart from all the main characters Namrata Awate Sambherao has a small role of a talkative women who loves to inquire about everything happening around her leaves her mark through her wonderful performance. Director Paresh Mokashi has carved out a niche audience for himself who eagerly wait for his films to roll out in theatres and Vaalvi surely satisfies their thirst for a good Paresh Mokashi film.
